Sometimes I touch my car like you want to be touched but I won’t touch you that way. Because at 3500 RPM you do not have a turbo that kicks in and I can’t foot down, shift 3rd you. And at 5000 RPM when peak performance declines you don’t stick the the curve of the road. And when it all comes down to it you require 10 and 2 and I like 12 and shifter while doubling the speed limit. And you always say, oh, no oh, no too fast. And I say oh, no, oh faster. So I touch my car like sometimes you want to be touched when I rub rub rub softly on every curve and every surface and the wax is all worked in and then off. And I twist and pull and prod and that new part is in and she whines and moans like oh, oh, oh take me out for a ride now and we’ll do that corner at 45mph even if it’s wet. And sometimes we go too fast and sometimes there are scrapes but the car forgives and goes out again and again. And that’s what I like to hear.
